Your hostess Genevieve is originally from Brittany. After 25 years of a busy life in Nice, Genevieve and her husband Alain moved to a pretty village in the Languedoc, near the Canal du Midi, for more tranquility and authenticity.
Alain, your host, is a former top athlete, who for some years was part of the French national athletics team as marathon runner. He also practiced rugby, judo, and is an avid mountain guide. After this unusual career as a sports coach, he can take you on a hike or mountain bike trails, if you feel like it. Alain also has another passion: œnology. To learn and understand the wine business, Alain worked in the cellars of Languedoc, and loves to share his knowledge.
Having purchased and renovated a 19th century mansion with an historic role within the village, you will receive a warm welcome to their home, and get a flavour of the region, and perhaps a taste of local produce.
